Decide which end of the timeline comes first
Before making a selection, read the order shown above the items. Oldest to newest and newest to oldest require opposite choices. Each tap locks immediately, so identify at least the first few items before selecting one. There are two rounds of ten items.
Worked example: ordering a practice timeline
Imagine three fictional events labelled 1998, 2005 and 2012. For oldest to newest, choose 1998 first and 2012 last. If one item is uncertain, place the events you know on a mental timeline and identify the interval where the uncertain item could fit. This example teaches the approach without revealing a live round.
Make the next run more useful
Check what the date describes. A film release, an award ceremony and a historical event are different milestones. In other ordering puzzles, the relevant measure may be size or another quantity rather than time. Read the round’s instruction instead of assuming every list uses the same rule.
This guide uses separate teaching examples. Report a question or suggest a correction with the game name and the wording you saw.
