How BrainiLab uses account, gameplay and product data.
About this notice
The person responsible for BrainiLab and the processing of personal data described here is Oriol Sardà. Contact: brainilabquiz@gmail.com.
This notice describes the data used by BrainiLab at brainilabgames.com. For a question about your information, use the contact form and include an email address if you need a reply. Never send a password, full card number or identity document through that form.
Playing as a guest or with an account
The service uses gameplay results, progress, game history and preferences to run games, calculate scores and show statistics. A guest may have a generated player identifier and a guest authentication session. Signing in associates progress with an account and may provide an email address and profile information from the sign-in provider.
Learning paths
Learning paths store completed lesson identifiers, quiz versions and scores. Guest learning progress is saved in this browser. When signed in, progress is also stored privately with your account so it can be loaded on another device. Learning-path results do not appear in public rankings. Clearing browser storage removes local progress; account progress follows the account-data request process below.
Public rankings and groups
Completed scored games can appear in public rankings, including guest games under a generated alias. A public entry can show a ranking name, score, level, streak and country when set. Email addresses and provider profile photos are not automatically published. Registered players can change their ranking name or hide their ranking through the profile controls. Detailed personal statistics remain private. If you join a group, its identity and qualifying aggregate score can appear in group rankings.
Why the information is used
Account and gameplay information supports the features you request: play, progress, authentication, groups and rankings. Operational records also help investigate errors, prevent abuse and maintain the service. Optional Meta marketing measurement uses your consent, which you can withdraw without losing access to the games. Information in a contact message is used to handle the request and reply when you provide a contact address.
Service providers
Cloudflare serves the website; Supabase provides authentication and database features. If you use a BrainiLab+ checkout, Stripe handles payment details; BrainiLab does not store full card numbers in its application database. Google provides analytics measurement, and Meta receives marketing events only after your marketing choice allows them. These providers may process information outside your country under their applicable terms and data-protection arrangements.
Marketing and measurement choices
Meta events contain the game name and mode, not your email, account ID, answers or score as event parameters. Meta may still receive standard browser and page information. Use Manage privacy to change your choice. Google Analytics loads only after you accept usage statistics. It measures page visits and selected interactions such as article reading, article-to-game clicks, completed games and social links. We do not send names, emails, account IDs, answers or scores as event parameters. The statistics preference is separate from Meta ad measurement. The Cookies page explains the separate controls and current advertising configuration.
Storage and requests
Local game history remains in your browser until cleared or updated. Account, gameplay and feedback records are stored on the service; clearing browser storage alone does not delete those records. Contact BrainiLab to request access, correction or deletion and identify the account or guest profile concerned. We may need to confirm that the request relates to your data before changing it. Records needed for security, resolving a dispute or legal obligations may need to be retained.
Your choices and rights
Depending on the law that applies, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to processing, and to receive a portable copy of your data. You can withdraw consent to optional statistics and ad measurement at any time. You may also contact your data-protection authority. Include the nature of your request and a reply address in the contact form.

Confirmed accounts and optional arrival attribution
We keep a private, deduplicated record of account confirmation to distinguish new confirmed accounts from anonymous guest profiles and repeat sign-ins. Our Growth dashboard shows aggregate counts and excludes team accounts.
If you accept usage statistics before signing up, this browser temporarily stores the broad arrival source, public landing-page path and registration-request time as brainilab_registration_arrival_v1. This expires after seven days. After confirmation, these values may be associated with your account in our private Supabase database. We do not send that account identifier to Google Analytics. No email, search terms, URL query strings, answers or scores are included in this attribution record.
Rejecting statistics clears the pending browser record. If you are signed in and the service is reachable, it also removes the stored arrival attribution for your current account. Clearing browser storage alone does not remove server records; you can use Contact & corrections for a removal request. Deleting the account removes its confirmation and arrival records. Missing attribution stays unknown and is not inferred.
