Questions and explanations
Learn capitals as relationships, not isolated words
A capital quiz connects a country with a city. The best-known city is not always the capital, and a place can have different administrative arrangements. Read the country name carefully and use the answer review to build a country–capital pair rather than memorising a position among the four buttons.
A practical way to study a missed pair
Make two small cards: country on one side, capital on the other. Test yourself in both directions. Then locate the pair on a map and group it with neighbouring countries. This adds geographical context to a name and helps distinguish cities that sound similar. Repeating the same button order is much less useful than recalling the pair without choices.
Make the next run more useful
Begin with one difficulty and review the misses before moving up. When you are unsure, first rule out cities you know belong to another country. Some countries have more than one capital role; wording should make the intended role clear. Use Suggestions if a question does not distinguish these cases. Include the country, the offered answers and a reliable source for the distinction.
