Flag Quizzes

Learn and recognise world flags through classic quizzes and faster game mechanics.

How to distinguish similar flags

Compare the layout first: horizontal bands, vertical bands, a cross or an emblem. Then check colour order and the location of any symbol. Describe the flag before reading the answer choices so a familiar country name does not distract you.

A three-step observation exercise

  1. Name the main shapes without guessing a country.
  2. Read the colours in order from top to bottom or left to right.
  3. Find one feature that rules out a similar flag.

The quizzes use flag images so you can compare their colours and shapes. If an image does not load, refresh the page or report the problem. The full quiz includes an answer review; use it to compare flags you confused rather than memorising button positions.
